Good morning beautiful girls!
I haven't written to you for a while so I better do a quick post before I take you to dancing Bella. That's right! You started ballet last week! You look beautiful in your little pink leaotard and skirt. I am so proud of you, you are such a fast learner and good listener, you did really well on your first day! I am not allowed to watch you dance, all the mums stay out the back and wait (I had a sneak peak on your first day though) Can't wait for the concert, I think I will cry! I will be the proudest mum there!!!!
After dance today we are off to Townsville!!! You won tickets to the Rhymes Festival which is like a full day concert with some of your favourites like Yo Gabba Gabba and Angelina Ballerina! You are so excited to go on a "Little Holiday" and mummy is excited too because she's never been to Townsvillle :) I entered you in the competition - I filmed you singing "5 little ducks" and sent it in. You had little toy ducks in your hands and acted out the song it was adorable! You won us VIP tickets to go in and meet the performers as well as a nights accommodation in Townsville!! Well done beautiful!
Today was "Wiggles" day at daycare! Mummy made you a Dorothy the Dinosaur dress!! (Will post pictures later) You looked so good Bella, everyone loved your costume and you were so proud to wear it. It makes me feel so good when you love something I made for you :D All the other kids wore Wiggles coloured shirts, it looked reallly coool but you looked the best!! :D
Ruby-Roo, you have been sick this past week, Nannie took you to the Drs and you have a chest infection. I have never had a bad night with you until this week! But after taking your medicine you are getting alot better and sleeping through the night again!! I am so lucky to have such a good baby! Recently you got 4 teeth without me even knowing until I felt inside your mouth!! I can tell when you are teething because your cheeks are red, you dribble a little bit, you get nappy rash and you wake up a couple times during the night for your dummy! I am so happy to have a good teether, hopefully it stays that way!!
You are nearly 11 months old now, I cant believe you are nearly 1!! It just amazes me how fast you grow! You are a little dare-devil!! You hold onto things and walk around, now you have started grabbing our hands or feet or clothes and walking really well, almost unassisted!! I dont want you to walk early, you will most likely be my last baby and I want you to stay a baby for as long as possible :( But I am also proud of all the things you can do :D You say a few words, mostly mumma and bubba and wadat (what's that?) it is adorable! And you also can say "Jack" which is Nannie and Poppas puppys name :) You wave goodbye and hello now whenever someone says ta ta or hello, you are so clever! And when you are hungry you click your tongue and put your hand up to your mouth :) I have two beautiful and smart little girls!!
I better go get ready for dancing, you are both in Mummys bed asleep, Ruby you woke up in the middle of the night so I put you in my bed and cuddled you, when you wouldn't sleep I gave you a dose of your medicine (you love the taste so I thought it would calm you as you weren't drinking your water) and I also gave you an arrowroot biscuit - you loved it, ate it all and went straight back to sleep! Bella, I think Ruby woke you up and you came into my bed, I love your cuddles :)

"Dont you want me baby"
Last night I slept over in your bed Bella! I was reading you a bedtime story and we were singing a song that was on TV "Dont you want me baby, dont you want me OOHHHH" and you were laughing so much it was so fun! Your laugh is just infectious, I couldn't stop singing with you and laughing with you, and then you said so nicely that I was welcome to sleep in your bed.. how could I say no! You did wake up during the night to tell me that I had taken the blanket off you... woops :P Ruby, you slept well in your cot, only waking up once during the night to put your dummy back in.
You girls came to sewing with me on Saturday night at my friend Tanias house. You both love all my sewing ladies - Tania, Kristy, Melissa, Tara and Lizz - and they love you too! Tania has a daughter named Brianna and Bella you will you were a big girl so you could hang out with her more but she does play with you when she can and you love that :D
Last Wednesday we went to the park to play with your friends. There was lots of little friends there including Lilly, Claire, Elise, Jesse-Jay, Edge, Alysha, Mason and Declan. You both had a great time!!

Fun in the Sun
Thursday was a fun day. We went to the beach with your Aunty Christina (Stina) We went to Palm Cove and played in the sand, ran away from the waves and just relaxed on the beach. Bella, you had lots of fun playing with Christina while mummy fed Ruby in the shade. We had planned to go for a swim but the water was so cold we had to trick you into leaving.. This photo is how we did it...
Dont worry Bella we promise to take you back some day soon and take you for a swim :)
To make up for it on Thursday I took you to the playground on the way home. You loved it. We went to the one near Nanni and Poppas house, Down Park. Ruby, you and Bella both loved the swing and Bella, you loved the slide too!!

On Friday you both went to Daycare while mummy worked. Sheridan Meadows is the name of your daycare and it is a really good one. You both love the ladies that look after you. Bella you have 2 best friends that go to your daycare and also a boyfriend - Mikayla, Lilly and Hunter (you call him Hunter Ebans) You are a social butterfly and you and your friends play very well together. Ruby you are usually the only girl in the baby room but now another little girl has joined you and her name is Bella too :)
Love you both, wish I didn't have to work so I could be with you everyday but I know you are in good hands when I am at work. Monday you stay with Nanni and Tuesday and Friday are daycare days.

Wednesday 4th May - Our day at home together
Today we didn't go anywhere for most of the day. We just stayed at home and played together. Bella, you have a lot of brand new toys from your 3rd Birthday that you just love playing with. Today we played with play-doh together, you love making the moulds in the set grow hair and use play-doh scissors to cut it off like a hairdresser. (You recently got your fringe cut and must have enjoyed it because you have been playing hairdresses a few times lately) After that mummy made you a nice lunch, I even cut the sandwiches into dinosaur shapes for you. Mummy had to make a costume for your Uncle Darrins going away party and you helped by using up my cardboard scraps and gluing them together to make what you said was a tiger. It was really cute, you even drew eyes on it :) We traced letters to start learning your alphabet and so far you are very good at copying the letters. Bella you are such a smart little girl, you amaze me everyday with things you learn and remember! You have always been a clever girl ever since you were a baby. You could tell us animal sounds when we asked, you could copy words and actions so well even from a young age and you even did the "Deal or No Deal" actions for us, it was a great party trick to show our friends :P
To end our day together I took you to swimming lessons. You are getting so good at swimming. You can kick your legs well and do your big arms and you are so good and doing "pancakes" and turning around under water, I am so proud of you. For dinner mummy made some Beef Chow Mein (you weren't a big fan of it though. After dinner and a bath I put you to bed and read you some stories (you ended up reading them to me, you have such a good memory and recognise pictures so well you can recite a lot of books after reading them to you even just once) Tonight we read stories about Helping, Sharing and even a book about Spot the Dog. You ended up telling me that you had to go to sleep because you were very tired (usually you don't want me to leave, so you must have been tired) So I gave you a cuddle and a kiss and left you to sleep all night in your "Big Girl Bed" (As a baby you would share the bed with us, you must have gotten used to this because you didnt really sleep in your own bed until after you were 2years old, after Ruby was born you really started to follow a good bedtime routine and stay in your own bed.) Sweet Dreams My Big Girl.
Ruby -Roo, you are such a great baby! You are nearly 9 months old, you have 3 teeth (2 bottom ones came through when you were 6 months old and your top right came through last week - the left is nearly through) You have the cheekiest grin and your beautiful personality is starting to develop. I can tell you are going to be a handful when you are older, you already worry me when you put every little thing you see in your mouth. Todays item was a piece of Bellas dinner last night she must have dropped on the floor but it was covered in ants! YUCK! Didnt seem to bother you though (Just that I came running and took it off you so quickly) The other day you were choking and we tried smacking your back to help you get it up but it didnt help, I ended up putting my finger down your throat to see what it was and out comes a little sticker that belongs to Bella which had a picture of a Skunk on it. Mummy doesn't like worrying about what is on the ground that you might find and will choke on so the next day I went and bought a Dyson vacuum to make sure you dont find anything!!
Ruby, you are such a well behaved baby, you follow a good routine during the day:
5am Breastfeed
8am Breakfast - toast or fruit or a Heinz baby food bottle
10am Formula bottle
12pm Lunch - Sandwich or a quiche or fruit etc, or a Heinz baby food bottle
2pm Formula Bottle
5pm Breastfeed
7pm Dinner - Whatever we're having usually
8-9pm Formula bottle. (Mummy got really sick when you were 5 months old and had to stop breastfeeding you fulltime, I really wanted to feed you myself until you were 1, but I will continue to do it half of the time while I still can )
You have always been a good sleeper, sleeping through the night at 6 weeks old (10pm - 5am) I am so lucky to have such a good baby. Even when you had Whooping Cough from about 9weeks old you were a great baby! You threw up alot because of the coughing fits though.
Today you enjoyed lots of food, you love eating and always have some sort of food in your mouth whether its watermelon or grapes, rice cakes or arrowroot biscuits! After your bath and before bedtime you and your big sister Bella played so well together in your playpen it was so wonderful to watch. I am so proud of the both of you!
Today you started waving hello and goodbye properly, yet another milestone you have reached! You are growning up too fast I wish I could slow it down. You are standing up holding on to things and your daycare teacher Bec thinks you will be walking before you turn 1 years old. I agree with her even though I wish you didn't have to grow so fast, you are so strong and clever! I am going to join you in our bedroom (you are in your cot next to the bed) because you are going to wake up in about 5 hours for a feed! Sweet Dreams my Little Sweetie.

For the two most beautiful girls on this Earth!
To my precious daughters, Bella and Ruby.
I am making this blog for you both. I want you both to look back on this one day and see all the things you encountered every day. I will try add in as many memories from the last 3 years as I can remember but from now on nothing will be forgotten because it will all be here. I want you to remember all the wonderful people in your life that love you so very much and are here for you no matter what. I will post pictures so you can see the different stages of your life and how much you have grown over the years. I don't want to forget the best times we have together so I will record them here and we can remember them together.
Mummy loves both of you so very much, you are both the best things in my life and everything I do is for you.
